Sayyid Ahmad Baraelvi (1786-1831) was a renowned Sufi personality. He belonged to (Sunni / Hanafi) school of thought and worked tirelessly for the reformation of religious thought in Sub-Continent.
Since it was the same period when East India Company was colonizing India. He turned his efforts towards opposing the colonization of India by East India Company.
This document is the scan of the original manuscript of historically known "Waqai Ahmadi". It is now titled "Waqai Sayyid Ahmad Shaheed". It is the account of the narrations of the people who took part in Sayyid Ahmad's movement. It is a primary source in expoliring Sayyid Ahmad's ideology.
